Office Closure Notice

Georgia Tech Offices will be closed from December 23 through December 27.

The Registrar’s Office will be open for walk-in services from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30, and Tuesday, December 31. Staff will work remotely from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on these days.

All Georgia Tech Offices will be closed on Wednesday, January 1.

Letter of Completion

Letters of Completion are for PhD students. If you need a Letter of Completion you may submit this request after the close of registration during the semester in which you have petitioned to graduate, up until the week prior to the end of the term. To obtain this letter, you must have already satisfied the following requirements:

  • All coursework must be completed.
  • Your thesis and enrollment waiver (if applicable) must be approved, and the approval documentation must already be submitted to this office by Graduate Studies.

If you are currently enrolled in classes that will be counted toward the completion of your degree requirements, you will not be able to obtain a Letter of Completion. If you are not a PhD student please see the Anticipated Graduation Date form.

Students with current enrollment should request a Verification of Pending Degree form.
