The concentration management tool in OSCAR is available to add, remove, or change a concentration for your degree program—if your program offers concentrations. Not all degree programs at Georgia Tech have concentrations, and during registration, you might not be able to make changes. If you’re unsure or have questions, talk to your academic advisor.
Follow the steps below to review and/or change your concentration in OSCAR:

Select the NEW Change Program Concentration

Available Actions after making a selection:
- Edit: Change your selection
- Reset: Clear your selection
- Update: Submit your concentration change

- If you leave the page while changing your concentration, you'll need to click Edit again to see the dropdown menu.
- After choosing your concentration from the dropdown, click Update to save your changes.

- Concentration will take a moment to save.
- This update will be reflected immediately in OSCAR and will appear in Degree Works within 24 hours.

- If your degree program does not have concentrations, you will not be able to select or edit.
- Some degree programs restrict concentration selection during registration. If your degree program restricts concentrations, you will see No concentrations available message. Please follow up with your academic advisor if you have questions.
- For students who are admitted to GT but not registered in classes yet, a message will display with this notification.
